Through practices of breathing and body awareness, we slow down, learn again how to care for body and mind, and find steadiness, clarity and the rhythm of life in our everyday routines.
We support teachers in exploring social and emotional learning (SEL), bringing awareness, empathy and slow living practice into the classroom so that education becomes a warmer part of everyday life.
Members gather to look back on the year, share what we have achieved, exchange ideas and decide on the next steps together, so that the spirit of slow living keeps spreading.
At a chosen slow living venue, instructors lead a full day of classes, experiences and everyday practice. Set aside the busyness, feel the present moment, and practise spending a day slowly — in nature and in good company.
We visit companies, schools and public agencies with a range of slow living classes and experiences, helping different groups attend to their wellbeing, become more self-aware and adjust the pace of life — bringing the ideas of slow living back into daily life and work.
Speakers from different fields and local partners share the stage — from education and the arts to everyday local life — exchanging practices and visions of slow living, so that more people can see the change that slowing down brings.

5–21 Aug 2026 (six days) · Fengzhu Junior High School
For the first time, the society formed a Slow Living Education teaching team and brought a six-day slow living camp to Fengzhu Junior High School: tai chi, singing bowls, herbal fragrance, essential oils, photography, weaving, meridian care, desserts, guqin and literature — helping students discover the power of slowness.
In the second SEL (social and emotional learning) class at Miaoli Agricultural and Industrial Vocational High School, making bamboo-slip books of Chinese characters, scent work and breathing practice helped students and staff understand emotions and learn empathy — moving forward slowly, step by step, without comparing or rushing.
陳鵬文 visited Zhuolan Senior High School with breathing awareness, handmade herbal bath sachets, a shared "Little Flowers, Great Vessels" painting and blending incense powder, helping teachers and students find calm and settle body and mind at the start of the new year.
